This book explores broad concepts that belong to visual arts practice such as color, scale and abstraction, along with academic and scientific texts about those terms.

This book includes interactive elements that may give a didactical comprehension of the concepts shown. Even if these elements refer to a traditional “activity book” more associated with children, the content is a bit more specialized. This book can also offer the opportunity to learn more about those concepts to a person not related to the art field.

The study of those concepts is important to understand the origin of the judgments we make empirically, but that might have a scientific or psychological undertone that would help explain why we, as artists, are inclined to a certain formal solution over another.
